About us

Ride Giant. Ride Liverpool.

Liverpool’s rich industrial past shines at Giant Store Liverpool.

Housed in a restored grade II listed warehouse on Parliament Street, now home to an abundance of creatives, musicians and businesses, exposed brickwork and beams offer a truly unique setting celebrating Liverpool’s heritage.

Our independent, family owned business began as a bike hire service back in 2005 before transforming into the UK’s first Giant Brand Store in 2009.

We’re cyclists at heart, completely dedicated to putting our customers first through exceptional service, products and advice.  We aim to help you get just as much enjoyment from our favourite escape. We're full of local knowledge and expertise which has helped happy customers from around the world experience Merseyside by bike.

At Giant Liverpool we’re proud to offer Merseyside’s most complete range of Giant and Liv bikes, along with a cycling accessory range from the world’s leading brands.

Our women’s cycling area’s welcoming environment carries a wide selection of female specific bikes from Liv, the world’s first dedicated women’s cycling brand, supported by a range of accessories and cycling gear backed up by a supportive team happy to offer advice.

We service and repair all makes and models of bicycle in our in-store workshop – not just Giant and Liv bikes.

We also offer PowerFit in store. Developed by Giant and Wattbike with leading sports scientists and biomechanics, it’s the only bike fitting system with results proven by Wattbike’s Polar View Technology. Experience improved position and technique, increase pedalling effectiveness and ride further, faster.

Online ordering is available with free Click & Collect on orders over £50, retail finance is available, we accept cash and all major credit cards and participate in government Cycle To Work schemes – ask us in store for more details.

Meet the Giant Store Liverpool team!

Jon Trigg

Owner / Manager / Customer Advisor

Rode the local cycle ways as a child with bribes of ice-cream. Moved onto pannier laden touring, and then road cycling. Enjoys a bit of mountain biking but doesn't have the skills for anything technical. Loves blasting his TCX around the Wirral bridleways! Greatest achievement: completing the Mallorca 312 a smidge over 12 hours. What's next: having a go at a cyclo-cross season.

Kath Trigg

Customer Advisor / Admin

Kath commutes daily on her Liv Avail Advanced Pro and also likes cycling for leisure & fitness

Colin Trigg

Started the company in 2005 with his wife Chris and son Jon. Colin loves touring and Sunday rides around the Wirral on his TCX Advanced SL. He's also looking forward to a Scottish Highlands tour this Summer that's been 15 years in the making.

Chris Trigg

Set up the original bike hire business with Colin and Jon in 2005 that later became Giant Store Liverpool. Chris loves cycling her Liv Invite and is looking forward to this years Cycletta at Tatton Park, hoping to better last years 3rd place finish. Just try telling her it's not a race...

Phil Williams

Workshop Manager

Dabbled at most bike types in my youth. Hopped around on a trials bike with no seat for 10 years pretending the floor was lava. Naturally moved onto Weekend warrior mountain biking and Bmx when my ankles couldn't take the trials abuse any more. Moved to Giant and they turned me into a roady who is often seen on dual carriageways wearing a prop on my head from the alien movies. Next on my agenda is cyclocross.

Sam Isaac

Customer Advisor

Competing in downhill on his Glory Advanced 27.5 and Enduro on his Trance 27.5, Customer Advisor Sam made the podium of the Bluegrass Enduro Tour in Sicily in 2015. Catch him if you can on the gnarliest of descents.

Became hooked on cycling at a young age and has since rode a wide range of disciplines. Recently discovered the joys of the cyclo-cross bike after a decade pushing his limits on mountain bikes in his home country of New Zealand. Slowly being converted to road cycling by his 'roadie' colleagues. Likes getting lost in the English countryside on his Tcx slr 1. Dislikes being asked where in Australia he's from.
