We are of course keeping a close eye on how the coronavirus pandemic develops and are taking the necessary precautions to keep you safe. We have no wish to feed into any kind of panic over the situation as we don’t feel this to be helpful, but we may suffer some disruption as we’re such a small, tight team. We will keep you updated on any disruptions to the workshop and front of shop.
Experts say that boosting your immune system may give you an edge in fending off viruses and staying healthy this season. Cycling is a powerful way to boost your immune system, as exercise circulates antibodies and white blood cells more rapidly, allowing them to detect and zero in on bugs faster. Staying active on the bike also lowers stress hormones, again reducing your chances of getting sick.
While some cyclist train and ride in isolation, most thrive on riding together with friends, clubs, groups. Our Cappuccino road ride will still be taking place this week (minus the dinner and drinks at the end). However we kindly ask that if you’re showing any of the symptoms of Coronavirus (a cough, a high temperature, shortness of breath) not to attend and to follow the advice on the NHS website.
In store we accept contactless payment (including apple and google pay for transactions over £30).
We also offer Click and Collect payments via our website. Until further notice we will be waivering our delivery charges and offering free delivery for any bikes purchased within a 30 mile journey from our shop.
As always, we’re incredibly grateful for the loyalty and custom of our fantastic cycling community and look forward to seeing you in-store soon. So it’s business as usual and we are ready to welcome you in. Take care of yourselves and each other.
